Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know we are looking for Boat Captains and Volunteers for our Fishing Has No Boundaries event on Aug. 22nd and 23rd. For more information please visit our website at http://www.brainerdlakesfhnb.org/ . I was wondering if anyone would like to help us out this year, either again or for the 1st time? It is a simple day---just take the people fishing and catch whatever! As long as their pole is bending or as simple as someone is paying attention to them, they are having the time of their lives!
As most of you know, I got involved with FHNB about 6 1/2 years ago by going to an informational meeting as a representative for the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce. Next thing I knew I was on the Board and now the President. The more I learned and the more I became involved...the more I loved what I heard and seen. I think I can attest, or talk to Chad I. or Greg K., the gratification you get from spending a day or so with all the people involved is heartwarming and so sincere! The smiles, laughs, enthusiasm and screams of excitement will be hard for you to forget! It is definitely an experience you will cherish the rest of the year!
